Digital transformation is an opportunity for more effective disease prevention and treatment at an early stage of disease development. This practice means that we can dramatically improve the quality of citizens’ health and the quality of healthcare by implementing a culture of prevention and knowledge of the value of early response. The state budget allocated to health care would be used more effectively if its major part were directed to e-prevention and e-health.
Artur Białkowski has been developing his professional career in Medicover since 2012 – first as the Sales Director, and since June 2016 as the Vice President of Medicover Poland responsible for the commercial division. Currently, as the Managing Director of Business Services he is primarily responsible for the functioning of Medicover Centres throughout the country as well as for the development of outpatient business, non-medical services, business offer, customer service, and sales and marketing.
Artur has over 20 years of managerial experience as well as expertise in management and sales.
Prior to joining Medicover, he had gained his professional experience in organisations such as Orange (Centertel), Siemens, and DHL Express.
Artur is a graduate of the University of Warsaw. He also completed doctoral studies at the College of Management and Finance of the Warsaw School of Economics.
Artur Pruszko holds a Ph.D. in mathematics and graduated from Executive and MBA program of University of Minnesota (US). Artur Pruszko is an expert in strategic management, investments project management, business development and restructuring.
Artur Pruszko is an expert in telecommunication industry and investment processes, he has long professional experience in Polish Telecom (Telekomunikacja Polska, TP) where he held managerial positions in Strategy Department and Business Development Department. He also worked for private equity firms and has been providing consulting services. Artur Pruszko recently conducts projects related to improvement in healthcare, including projects in the field of telemedicine and e-health.

After graduating from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of Warsaw University of Technology he stayed at the University as the academic teacher and researcher for the next two years. Directly from the Institute he moved to IBM Poland where he is still employed. During his professional career he graduated in journalism from The University of Warsaw and finished full MBA course at Henley Management College. Active on the Polish IT market for more than 20 years. Started as the systems engineer, then sales specialist and continued as the sales manager and business developer. Currently acts as the Healthcare Sector Leader for Poland. His role is to engage in innovative e-health projects.
Tomasz Staszelis is an expert in the field of Digitalisation and IT Management. He has gained his experience in managerial positions at large Polish and international companies, such as Coca-Cola, Elbrewery, Grupa Żywiec, Heineken, Walgreens Boots Alliance. He is currently Chief Digital Officer at the Polpharma Group. His areas of expertise include Digital Healthcare, Digital business transformation, IT strategy integral with the company’s business strategy, management of business processes and integration processes in mergers. He has led numerous major global business transformation programs which consisted in integration of business and technology. Over 14 years of working abroad he gained extensive experience in managing a culturally diverse environment and in international mergers. He has a degree in Telecommunications from the Gdańsk University of Technology and an MBA from Strathclyde University and the University of Gdańsk. He also completed an Executive MBA course at INSEAD.
