Dr. Agnieszka Jankowska has served as Vice President of the Digital Poland Foundation for almost two years. Since 2020, she has also served on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland. In March 2023, she joined the Council of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
The new head of the Council for Digital Affairs has extensive experience in both the commercial and public sectors, having gained experience at companies such as General Electric Poland and currently working at T-Mobile Polska. Dr. Jankowska is particularly active in electronic communications and digital policy. Since 2005, she served as spokesperson for the Minister of Development and then as Director of the Department of Management of Operational Programmes for Competitiveness and Innovation at the Ministry of Development. Previously, she worked for nearly six years at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. She is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where she earned a PhD in economics. She also graduated from the National School of Public Administration. She will serve as the Council Chair on a voluntary basis, receiving no remuneration.
