In 2002 he graduated from Slavic philology at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where he obtained a doctoral degree 5 years later, in 2020 - a habilitated doctor in the field of literature. In the years 2019-2024 he managed the University Center for Perfection Imsert-interactions: mind, society, environment. Earlier, it included functions such as the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Philology (2016-2019) and the Faculty of Humanities (2019-2020). From January 1, 2024, he has been the Assistant Secretary-General in the UNESCO Fédération Internationale des Langues et Littératures Modernes (Fillm), previously he was a member of the board of the International Comparastic Literature Association (2019-2022).
He completed the postgraduate studies of the Accelerated Management Program at Yale School of Management (Yale University, 2023) and Climate Change for Decision-Makers: Challenges, Transformations, Strategies at the University of Cambridge (2024). In 2011 he participated in the first session of the Institute for World Literature (Beijing, China), organized by Harvard University and Peking University.
He stayed on scholarships at: Institute for Advanced Study, University of Amsterdam (2021-2022), Institute on the Formation of Knowledge, University of Chicago (2016-2019), Harriman Institute at Columbia University in New York (2009) Budziejowice (2007), University of Ljubljana (2004) and the Karol University in Prague (2002-2003).
He received a scholarship for outstanding young scientists of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2012-2015), he was also a finalist of the scientific awards of "Polityka" (2014), he implemented grants of the National Science Center and Scholarships of the Foundation for Polish Science. For many years, he has been assessing grant applications in national and foreign programs, as well as in European projects. His research focuses on the intellectual history of Central and Eastern Europe, the history of ideas and comparative literature of the 19th and 20th centuries. One of the main research topics of prof. Adam Kola is a mechanism for the transfer of knowledge as a social, historical, geopolitical and cultural phenomenon. He is the author of three monographs, the editor of many collective volumes and monographic numbers of magazines. He published over 100 scientific articles in Polish, Czech, Russian, German and English. He also explained scientific and historical texts from Czech and English.

Dr. Adam Kola Graduated with a Master's in Slavic Philology From Nicolaus Copernicus University, Toruń, in 2002. He Earned His Ph.D. In 2007 and complete his phd in Literary Studies in 2020 at the same institution. From 2019 to 2024, he was the director of the university's imsert center of excellence - interactions: mind, society, environment. Before This, He Held Positions as vice Dean of the Faculty of Philology (2016-2019) and the Faculty of Humanities (2019-2020).
Since January 1, 2024, Dr. Kola Has Been The Assistant Secretary-General of the UNESCO-AFFILIATED Fédération Internationale des Langues et Littératures Modern (Fillm) After Previously Serving on the Board of the International Comparatory Literature Association (2019-2022).

AMONG HIS MANY ACCOLADES, Dr. Kola Received The Ministry of Science and Higher Education's Scholarship for OutStanding Young Scientists (2012-2015) and Was a Finalist for Policy Magazine's Science Awards (2014). He has successfully led research grants from the national science center and the foundation for Polish science. Additionally, he has served as an evaluator for numenous grant applications in domestic and international programs, inclusd European projects.
Dr. Kola's Research Focuses on the Intellectual History of Central and Eastern Europe, The History of Ideas, and Comparative Literature of the 19th and 20th Centuries. A Key Area of His Work Explores The Mechanisms of Knowledge Transfer AS A Social, Historical, Geopolitical, and Cultural Phenomenon. He has authored three monographs, Edited Numerous Collective Volumes and Special Issues of Academic Journals, and Published Over 100 Scientific Articles in Polish, Czech, Russian, German, and English. He is also a translator of academic and historical texts from Czech and English.
