A graduate of the Kraków University of Economics (major in International Trade), he received a scholarship from the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. He has been involved in digital banking and remote financial management for over 20 years. From 2007 to 2018, he served as Managing Director at Bank Pekao SA as responsible for implementing the digital customer service strategy for retail and SME customers. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Operations Director of e-banking at BPH SA. From 2010 to 2018, he served as a member and Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the second largest banking contact center in Poland – Centrum Bankowości Jakość in Kraków.

In 2020, Bartłomiej Nocoń joined the Polish Bank Association as head of the Payment Systems and Electronic Banking areas. Since January 2021, he has served on the Management Board of the European Payments Council (EPC) in Brussels.

Originator and co-author of a number of banking innovations that have significantly influenced the development of the payment system and digital banking in Poland over the last dozen or so years.

Bartłomiej Nocoń also serves as a member of the Management Boards of: the Electronic Banking Council, the Bank Card Issuers Council, the Acquirers Committee, the Banking Technology Forum, the Payment Services and SEPA Committee and the Polish SW Users Committee.

Engineer, PhD in computer science, professor at the Department of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. A graduate of the Szczecin University of Technology, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, and postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw. Author of approximately 100 scientific articles on artificial intelligence, information credibility, machine learning, automatic text analysis, and cybersecurity published in prestigious international journals and conference proceedings. Permanent advisor to the Committee on Digitization, Innovation, and Modern Technologies of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland from 2012-2015 and from 2020-2023. He served as R&D director, technology architect, and product manager responsible for the development of innovative products in technology startups (including Vooom Sp. z o. o. and Mudita Sp. z o. o.).

He served as R&D manager for research projects co-financed under Fast Track and Horizon 2020. He completed research internships at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Technische Universitaet Berlin.

Chief consultant and co-author of the "Information Society Development Strategy of the Silesian Voivodeship 2020+".
