Sławomir Cieśliński,
born in 1951, was born by the sea but has lived in Warsaw for over 60 years.
A historian by training (graduate of the University of Warsaw), his passion for the sea led him to serve for many years as a journalist and publisher of the monthly "MORZE" and an advisor to the Minister of Maritime Economy. After 1989, he held management positions in Polish and international media, advertising, and printing companies (including TVP, as a representative of Bertelsmann in Poland, Europlakat Polska, and "RUCH" SA).
He co-founded and then served as president of ELKART Electronic Card Systems from 1999 to 2001.
Since 2001, he has organized the "KARTA" Conference (renamed "Central European Electronic Card" in 2008 and "Central European Digital Payments" in 2017), the "Polish Cards and Systems" conference series since 2006, the "CommonSign" Conference in 2011, in cooperation with the Institute of Mathematical Machines and currently NASK, and the Digital Money & Blockchain Forum since 2014. In 2016, he organized the No Cash Day conference, which in 2017 became the Cashless Poland Forum.
He is a founding member of the Banking Technology Forum at the Polish Bank Association. He has been the
publisher of the "Polish Cards" Almanac since 2009.
Medien Service Sławomir Cieśliński (founded in 1990) is a member of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications. Michał Polasik is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, and director of the Center for Digital Economy and Finance NCU. He is the author of over a hundred academic publications on retail payments and digital finance that are widely cited. In addition, he has presented the results of his research during the most prestigious international conferences on the payment system, organized by the European Central Bank, the European Parliament, the Bank of Canada and the Bank of Finland, the Deutsche Bundesbank, and the National Bank of Poland.

Professor Paweł Wojciechowski is an economist with experience in academia, business, and government. From 2006 to 2020, he served as Minister of Finance, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, President of the Polish Foreign Investment Agency, Ambassador to the OECD, and Chief Economist of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).

In the years 1999-2005 he was the president of PTE Allianz Polska, previously he was the president of two other financial market companies and the director of the Polish Development Bank.

At various times in his career, he had the opportunity to lecture at American and Polish universities, including Harvard Kennedy School, John Carroll University, and Leon Koźmiński Academy.

He graduated with a degree in economics from John Carroll University, completed doctoral studies at Case Western Reserve University, and received his PhD from the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Currently, he divides his time between various activities. For several years, he has been a director at the London-based consulting firm Whiteshield Partners, coordinator of the European Rhine-Alpine Transport Corridor (EU), and a professor at the Polish University of Warsaw. Last year, he joined the Poland 2050 movement as chief economic advisor to Szymon Hołownia.

Dariusz Dąbski has been associated with the Puls Television project since 2006, initially as a Partner of News Corporation (now Fox Corporation) and Chairman of the Supervisory Board. In 2008, he became President of the Puls Television Management Board.

After taking over as President of the station, he carried out a thorough restructuring of Telewizja Puls, changed the programming strategy, introduced TV Puls to the digital multiplex, launched a new nationwide channel with universal themes – PULS 2, and increased the viewership of the station's channels from 0.4% in 2006 to 6.4% in 2021. In 2013, 2014 and 2015, TV Puls, a channel broadcast by Telewizja Puls, received three "Tele Tygodnia" Telekamera awards (respectively in the categories: "lifestyle channel", for "a huge increase in viewership and joining the five largest television channels in Poland", and for "the most family-friendly television channel on the market"), and in 2016 – the most important industry award, the Golden Telekamera, for outstanding television achievements. Irek is one of the two co-founders of DGTL. As Senior Partner, he is responsible for the Corporate Law (M&A) practice and, together with Michał Kibil, for the New Technologies Law practice, which we refer to as the Digitalization Area.

Irek's experience is unique and encompasses, on the one hand, in-house legal practice, stemming from his many years of work for IBM, including as head of the legal department in Poland, head of the regional legal team for CEE, and head of the outsourcing agreements practice for CEE, the Middle East, and Africa. Irek was also the chief practitioner at the Telekomunikacja Polska SA Group, managing a team of over 60 lawyers.

Irek's second area of ​​experience comes from his time at CMS, where he served as a partner for over seven years, first in the CEE region and then globally, responsible for telecommunications. Irek also served on the Polish M&A team and led the TMT team in CEE.

The new head of the Council for Digital Affairs has extensive experience in both the commercial and public sectors, having gained experience at companies such as General Electric Poland and currently working at T-Mobile Polska. Dr. Jankowska is particularly active in electronic communications and digital policy. Since 2005, she served as spokesperson for the Minister of Development and then as Director of the Department of Management of Operational Programmes for Competitiveness and Innovation at the Ministry of Development. Previously, she worked for nearly six years at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. She is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where she earned a PhD in economics. Ponder , is the Head of the Office for Europe at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), representing ITU in Europe and directing actions, projects, initiatives and experts' groups targeting 46 countries of the Europe Region. His portfolio includes Regional Initiatives for Europe, designed by the European Member States and focusing on the ICT Infrastructure, Digitization, Digital Inclusion, Accessibility, Innovation and Cybersecurity.

Mr. Ponder has managed numerous projects, activities and initiatives at national, regional and international levels. He has taken lead roles in many international conferences and summits concerning ICT innovation and development of ICT ecosystem, information society, and advancements of digital economy worldwide, while setting strategies and ensuring their timely implementation.
During his professional career, Mr. Ponder has held official positions in the public sector and has been a leading contributor to legislative projects, which influenced public policy. Mr. Ponder has working for ITU since 2004 holding diverse positions in the General Secretariat, Telecommunication Development Bureau, and Regional Presence, addressing the complexity of information society development and digital transformation at national, regional, international level, including United Nations level. Mr. Ponder was appointed Head of ITU Office for Europe in 2017.

For several years, Mr. Ponder has managed ITU's work in the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) process, establishing the annual WSIS Forum, WSIS Prizes, WSIS Stocktaking, and others. In his current role, Mr. Ponder has established several formal coordination mechanisms facilitating the work of UN agencies in advancing digital transformation at the national and regional level.
